The “Caitlin Clark Effect” continues to show itself through record-shattering TV viewership and attendance records in the 2024 WNBA season.
This past Saturday, Clark became the first rookie in WNBA history to record a triple-double — notching 19 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds in a stunning upset win over the league-best New York Liberty.
This thrilling contest drew some unreal TV viewership numbers.
According to Front Office Sports, Saturday’s game averaged 1.87 million viewers on CBS — up 215% from the same window last year. WNBA games on CBS are up 132% across the board so far this season with an average of 1.37 million viewers.

Clark and the Fever will face off against the Washington Mystics in their next matchup on Wednesday afternoon. That game will be available on Fubo and WNBA League Pass.
