Caitlin Clark has reportedly deleted her VSCO account just a few weeks into her WNBA career. Clark’s crazed fans have been monitoring her social media presence, and it seems her VSCO link is no longer featured in her Instagram bio.
The rookie out of Iowa has received major backlash from fans and media throughout the past couple of months, with immense pressure lying on her shoulders to change the landscape of the WNBA and the future of the Indiana Fever at just 22 years old.
WNBA fans have called out Clark for her inefficiency and underwhelming performances during the Fever’s 7-10 record, but Clark has been quick to say that she’s not worried about the outside noise. Clark has spoken about her involvement in social media, explaining that she has many apps deleted or muted from her phone.
There isn’t a player in the league with a brighter spotlight than Clark. Fans and media personnel have been following her every move on and off the floor since she turned into a superstar with the Hawkeyes at the collegiate level.
Despite any scrutiny Clark may receive in her rookie season, she’s still posting quality numbers to back her status as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft. She leads all first-year players with 16.3 points and 6.2 assists.
