Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark had the basketball world buzzing on Saturday after she became the first rookie in WNBA history to record a triple-double.

Just about everybody was talking about Clark’s record-setting performance, and how it impacts the ongoing WNBA Rookie of the Year race with Angel Reese.

But one NBA superstar was more focused on another aspect of Clark’s game.

New York Knicks icon Josh Hart posted on X Saturday night saying, “CC be throwing that thang”.

Considering that CC is Clark’s nickname, there seems to be little doubt that the post (which has over 4.5 million views) was a reference to the Fever rookie.

And fans are clamoring to know what exactly Hart meant by this.

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT,” one fan wrote.

“surely u mean ball right,” said another.

Even Hart’s All-Star teammate Jalen Brunson was shaken up by the post, which he proved by responding, “Josh what”.

Brunson’s reply already has over three million views.

Since Hart never responded to any of his fans or teammates’ comments, there’s no way of knowing what exactly he meant with the comment.

And we imagine that he prefers it that way.
