Caitlin Clark has everyone’s eyes on her again. The Indiana Fever fans made loud noises on Saturday when she led her team to a huge 83-78 upset victory over the visiting New York Liberty. The buzz since that game has been mostly about Clark, who pulled off a feat no rookie in the WNBA had done before, as she eked out a triple-double of 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 13 assists.

Clark is no stranger to being the center of attention, and that can also be said about her even when she’s not on the court.

After the win over the Liberty, Clark got a special shoutout from the PGA Tour’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, which commemorated the the former Iowa Hawkeyes star since she participated in the 2023 edition of the John Deere Classic Pro-Am.

It can be recalled that Clark partnered with Zach Johnson, who is also from Iowa, for the said event. Johnson said the following about Clark at the time (via Craig DeVrieze of PGATour.com):

“I don’t know if transcendent is the right word, but what happened in the NCAA women’s tournament—as an Iowan, but also as a fan of sports—was just spectacular.”
