Colin Cowherd isn’t impressed with Caitlin Clark being left off the Olympic basketball team.

The Indiana Fever sensation and former Iowa superstar wasn’t included on the roster for the games in Paris, despite being the face of the WNBA.

It’s a truly shocking decision.

There are very few times in life you can look at a situation and know immediately someone screwed up. This is one of those situations.

It almost feels like the team is trying to send some kind of message by snubbing Clark. It’s like they don’t want all the attention she brings – which was hinted at in a USA Today report.

Colin Cowherd reacts to Caitlin Clark not making Olympic team.

Like many others, Colin Cowherd is baffled by not including the one person guaranteed to bring in viewers and fans. He made his thoughts clear during his Monday episode of “The Herd.”

As Cowherd pointed out, when life gifts you a huge wave, it’s time to grab your surfboard and ride it. That’s a mentality the people in charge of the Olympic squad don’t seem to understand.

It’s honestly incredible how much attention has been paid to Clark not making the Olympic team. It speaks to her insane popularity and the draw she has in basketball.

And not just women’s basketball. Her draw transcends women’s sports. Just about everyone in sports has an opinion on Clark being snubbed, and Republican politicians are even throwing support behind her.

It’s nothing short of incredible, and yet, she’s still not on the roster. It’s one of the most comical mistakes that I’ve ever seen in sports. Do these women actually hate attention?
