Jake Paul faces serious accusations about his physique prior to Mike Tyson fight

While many anticipated that Jake Paul would be fighting boxing icon Mike Tyson at AT&T Stadium on July 20Tyson‘s recent health scare has resulted in that bout being pushed back to Nov. 15 — a disappointment to many boxing enthusiasts.

However, Paul intends to fight someone on July 20: mixed martial artist Mike Perry, who has come out swinging with some fiery words about the “Problem Child” in the weeks before they square off at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.

Perry accuses Paul of using steroids!

Perry has levied a shocking accusation at Paul three weeks before they touch gloves in Tampa: he believes “Titanium Jake” has been using steroids to bulk up, ostensibly in advance of fighting Tyson.

“If he went from, you know, 210 (pounds), if he really did go to 230, he had to use something,” Perry said on the OverDogs Podcast. “I don’t know how the testing is going to be. They may test me and not test him. That’s fine. I’ve fought people who are on it. I know I’ve trained with people who are on the juice. You know, it is what it is.”

This is not the first time an accusation of steroid use has been levied against Paul. Last year, former MMA star Dillon Danis lodged a similar complaint about Paul’s physique, asking why he would dip into a cold plunge while still donning a backwards cap on his head.

In 2022, Paul flatly denied doping allegations lodged by UFC president Dana White, and Paul also railed against Ryan Garcia‘s positive Ostarine test before his fight against Devin Haney — which has resulted in Garcia‘s one-year suspension from boxing.

But Paul is yet again facing troubling allegations that he is cheating — and only time will tell whether it is all a part of the pre-fight spectacle, or whether something darker and more sinister lies beneath the surface.
