Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever have been turning heads all season. Clark came into the league as a highly touted star who already cemented herself in the women’s basketball industry.

She left Iowa as the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer after being recruited as one of the top prospects out of high school. Clark has been under the lights all of her life. It seems like just yesterday she was playing in her freshman season at Iowa.

Clark went to Instagram on Monday to speak on her basketball journey, sending a simple message.

“Time flies,” said Clark.

She posted a picture of herself in a Fever uniform in a slide show with a photo of her playing basketball in grade school.

One of the most heartwarming responses came from Clark’s former teammate at Iowa, Gabbie Marshall.

“Dawwww so cute, miss you & always proud of you,” said Marshall via Instagram.

Marshall and Clark played side-by-side with the Hawkeyes for years. They competed at the highest level with one another, serving as vital pieces to Iowa’s two straight Final Four appearances in 2023 and 2024.

Clark has always been deemed as the star out of Iowa, but her teammates seem to have played a big part in her success. Marshall and Kate Martin have been by the rookie’s side through the good and the bad all season.

Marshall’s statement, “Always proud of you,” just shows that the Iowa family will be with each other through the highs and lows.
