Caitlin Clark wants some rest. The Indiana Fever rookie confessed as much when asked recently by the team about their favorite summer activity.

While her Fever teammate Lexie Hull mentioned many activities she likes to do during the summer break, Clark, who looks tired and sleepy, noted that her favorite activity is “sleeping, maybe.”

Considering the hectic schedule Clark has been through—from leading Iowa to a Finals run in the NCAA Tournament to getting drafted just weeks later and then jumping to WNBA action—the young sharpshooter hasn’t gotten enough rest over the past couple of months.

The excellent news for Caitlin Clark is that she will likely get the sleep she craves when the WNBA break starts in a month.

Because of the 2024 Paris Olympics, which will be held from July to August, the league will also go on an extended break as some of its players represent the country for the Summer games. And since Clark wasn’t selected for the squad, she’ll have plenty of time to do what she wants.

Unfortunately for the fans, with Clark’s clear plan for the summer, don’t expect her to be that active in basketball.
