The Indiana Fever are getting ready to take the floor against the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday, but Caitlin Clark took some time to answer some off-court questions from the media.
As fans would know, Clark signed a historic $28 million deal with Nike after she was drafted into the WNBA. On Saturday after practice, she was asked about the official release of her signature shoe.
Unfortunately for fans, the Fever rookie left them guessing instead as she refused to give any specific detail on her signature shoe.
“I don’t make those decisions so you’ll have to wait and see,” said Clark via Desert Wave Media on X.
There hasn’t been any leak about what Clark’s shoe may look like or when it will be released, and the Fever star hasn’t made the waiting any easier.

Clark is one of four players to have a Nike shoe deal in the WNBA, joining Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, and A’ja Wilson.
She came into the league as a highly touted rookie and is currently averaging 16.2 points and 6.6 assists for Indiana. The Fever are listed as the No. 9 team in the WNBA standings with a 7-12 overall record.
Much of the focus around Clark will continue to be on what happens on the court, but all eyes will be on Nike and the release of her signature shoe once any news surfaces.
