Caitlin Clark Shoves, Mocks Mystics Star Amid Frustrating Fever WNBA Game - Athlon Sports

Washington held a solid lead over the Fever in the first half. Indiana dealt with turnover issues throughout the WNBA clash.

Fever rookie Caitlin Clark had six points on two made three pointers through the early portion of the game. But she also let her frustration get the best of her at one point in the first half.

After Mystics player Julia Vanloo was playing extremely tight defense against her, Clark decided to shove Vanloo out of frustration after a whistle was called.

X user @walterrizzney captured and posted the shove on social media, with the caption, “Caitlin Clark and Julie Vanloo getting chippy”.

There was no foul (technical or common) called for the shove, as referees appeared to be distracted by something going on at another section of the court.

Clark could also be seen mocking Vanloo’s defense and flop attempts during the brief pause in play.

It was clearly a frustrating first half for Clark and her Indiana Fever teammates.
