Not only the players but the world is prepping up to catch the Indiana Fever battle it out against the Chicago Sky. The two powerhouses Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese have brought their loyal followers from their NCAA days. And as the rivals walked the tunnel before today’s game, the two have been raising the temperatures in the sweltering heat with their fashion statement.
While Clark was spotted wearing Prada, Reese enchanted all with her high heels. Clark was wearing a denim jacket, top, and jeans, while Reese took all hearts with her pink diva looks in high heels. The paparazzi asked her “How are the heels feel today?” to which Reese chuckled and replied, “They feel great.” Certainly, there is no match for their off-court swagger.
The Official WNBA handle on the social media networking platform X also tweeted Reese’s interaction with the paparazzi with new heels. The channel captioned it as “Lesson learned…new heels, still a baddie.” The WNBA handle must be referring to the last time Clark and Reese clashed. The Indiana Fever had trumped Chicago Sky by a close margin of 71-70. Furthermore, there was also a Chennedy Carter controversy that shook the teams for quite a few days.
At the end of the day, the Sky head coach Teresa Weatherspoon came forward to put water on fire and called out Carter’s behaviour. This to some extent softened the situation and the fans hence are excited to now watch the two teams clash against each other. Meanwhile, Clark and Reese once again proved their dominance through their fashion game. And fans had different reactions to it.
Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese fans support their superstars
“She keeps that Prada ON when the sky come to town… lucky Italian girl magic🤞🏻🌶️,” one fan commented on Clark’s picture. The fan must be pointing out the fact that Clark’s mother Anne is of Italian descent plus the brand Prada is also an Italian fashion house. The user was also underlining the fact that Clark has kept her swagger on when the Sky has come to level things with the Fever.
“Now those are heels!” another fan stated. The fan refers to Reese wearing a new set of heels before the game. Looks like Clark and Reese are also competing in their fashion game and quite a worthy match to notice.
However, one netizen was critical of Clark’s fashion statement. “Did she find that at a 1980’s Goodwill? Lmao. Try again,” remarked the user. The fan stated that Clark’s fashion sense was born out of the Goodwill store where they keep unique and antique items from the past. The fan must be alluding to the long jeans that covered even her shoes.
“Making sure the fake hair doesn’t fall off,” a user remarked. The user was inciting netizens to notice her fake hair. Reese uses hair to up her fashion game. She is a ‘Chi-town’ Barbie. But the user might have been a Clark fan with whom it didn’t go down well.
As for Reese, she too had valuable comments under her video. “If she ain’t playing, ain’t watching. My favorite,” one fan revealed. Reese is the only WNBA rookie to average a double-double in averages. She averages 12.2 points per game with 10 rebounds per contest. She brings a certain level of spice to the game whenever she plays against Clark. Whether it was during the NCAA Finals 2023 when she did John Cena’s ‘You Can’t See Me’ against Clark or now when she supported Carter while the latter shoved Clark. Reese has both- on-court antics and exceptional performances.
Looking at the comments there is fire on both sides and fans would be ready with their drinks and popcorn to watch an epic battle unfold tonight.
Stay tuned for more such updates, and to follow what Shaq’s ex-agent, Leonard Armato, has to say about the Reese-Clark rivalry and more, watch this video.
