The Indiana Fever fell to 9-14 on the WNBA regular season after losing to the Washington Mystics at home on Wednesday.

Caitlin Clark's Savage Move At Fever Practice Sparks Christie Sides Roasting

This loss was an especially disappointing one, considering that Fever rookie Caitlin Clark produced one of the best performances of her WNBA career thus far.

Yet, due to the combination of Clark’s teammates not performing well enough around her and poor decisions made by head coach Christie Sides, the Fever suffered defeat.

Both Clark and Sides spoke with media after the game. Clark came across as a thoughtful, introspective superstar who had the perfect answer for every question.

The same can’t be said for Sides.

When asked what went into yet another change of her starting lineup, Sides responded with, “That was a coach’s decision, and I’m just gonna leave it at that.”

And WNBA fans are blasting Sides on the Fever’s YouTube channel for not facing the music.

“Wow! Caitlin sounds more like a Coach with her answers than the Coach Sides does,” one fan wrote.

“Looks like CC is the coach with her responses,” said another.

A third wrote, “‘no comment’ on her starting lineup changes ‘coaches decision’ – Lady you’re the coach!”

Tough scenes for Sides.
