Caitlin Clark is considered a basketball savant, way ahead of her time in terms of the way she plays the game.

With her impressive repertoire of step-back three pointers and long range jumpers, she is known as one of the most revolutionary players in WNBA and women’s basketball history at the ripe age of 22 years.

Despite becoming the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer and a cultural phenomenon in the WNBA, Clark is human, as she revealed recently in a six-word reaction to her Indiana Fever teammates’ support, or lack thereof.

When asked if any senior player has been mentoring her on the Indiana Fever, Clark’s response was poignant to say the very least.

“Nobody gives me advice in games, I wish,” Clark reportedly said.

Clark made the comments after an 89-77 loss to the Seattle Storm earlier this week. Her Indiana Fever are set to play Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Valley of the Sun.

Her comments can be viewed at the 28-second mark of the video below.

The game will pit the WNBA’s all-time leading scorer Taurasi against the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer Caitlin Clark. Expect fireworks, both on and off the court.
