The Indiana Fever suffered a disappointing 89-84 defeat to the Washington Mystics on Wednesday.
While rookie Caitlin Clark produced one of her best WNBA career performances to date, her partner in crime Aliyah Boston had one of her worst games of the season.
The 2023 WNBA Rookie of the Year finished the contest with just 6 points and 6 rebounds in 21 minutes played; which was largely because she was in foul trouble all game long.
Yet, that didn’t stop one Fever fan from making a bold claim about Boston on X after the loss.
“Imma be honest. The fever would be WINLESS without Aliyah Boston. Y’all better act like you know,” X user @dtha_goat wrote.

The post has nearly 300,000 views in less than 24 hours.
And the X user is getting roasted for their take.
“Omg. Either this is a joke or you are the worst evaluator of hoops ever.” said one fan.
“the CC hatred is insane,” added another.
“Thought you said you’ll be honest? If this is your honest then your honest is mistaken.”
Sounds like most others don’t believe that Boston’s impact is so great for the Fever.
