Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic and Dallas Wings star Satou Sabally have big news

With NBA free agency beginning on Sunday evening, it is officially one of the most exciting portions of the calendar for basketball fans. Not only will marquee NBA players be making league-altering decisions in the coming days and weeks, but the WNBA season is in full swing at the same time.

Many NBA stars have been among the strongest supporters of the WNBA, and there are even unique collaborations that exist across the two leagues. In a recent announcement, Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic and Dallas Wings star Satou Sabally revealed their new collaboration on a signature Jordan brand sneaker:

Not only are Doncic and Sabally both Jordan Brand athletes, but they are both Dallas basketball stars. A two-time WNBA All-Star for the Wings, Sabally has missed all of this season with a shoulder injury, but is expected to return at some point before season ends.

Doncic and Sabally revealed this exciting news on Instagram, as both players re-shared the same post that unveiled the unique collaboration:

The Jordan Luka 3 has not yet released to the public, but the “Midnight Racer” edition is set to release on July 5th in Europe (per Nike). The “Photo Finish” edition is set to release globally on July 16th, which will be when everyone has an opportunity to land a pair of Doncic’s latest sneakers.

This is not the first time Doncic and Sabally have collaborated, as the Wings star played in his signature sneakers at times last season:

Taking this partnership to a new level, the two Dallas basketball stars have now collaborated on a signature Jordan Brand shoe that promotes the Luka 3 while also giving Sabally her own special pair of shoes.
