Novak Djokovic set to represent Serbia at the Paris Olympics despite undergoing knee surgery.
Novak Djokovic has yet to reveal in which tournament he will be returning to the court. The Serbian’s right knee problem was exacerbated after slipping on several occasions during his fourth tie at the French Open. Following surgery, he has already begun running in the gym and ATP Legend Arnaud Di Pasquale believes he can play at Wimbledon.
May specialists and pundits have ruled Djokovic out from playing at Wimbledon after undergoing a torn meniscus surgery in his right knee. Despite the surgery being successful, the 37-year-old had to walk with crutches for some days. He then went to his native home in Serbia to continue his recovery process in which he will be aiming to walk more often.
However, recently the 24-time Grand Slam winner posted a video to the delight of his fans and supporters. Djokovic was seen paddling and engaging in various forms of exercise in the gym. He looked in pain while undergoing the exercise but was in no pain as he danced with his wife during her 38 Birthday celebration.
Though it is good news that he is back to the gym, there is no confirmation that he has begun to undertake full training on the court. But French tennis ace Arnaud Di Pasquale doesn’t write him off from playing in Wimbledon which starts on July 1.

Impossible is not Djoko, but under what conditions? If he's not 100%, I don't believe it, it's not to make up the numbers. In addition, at Wimbledon, he knows very well that it is a tournament in which he is capable of beating these young people again. Even more perhaps than on clay in fact. There is this obvious desire to be ready for Wimbledon, because time is passing and he knows very well that the end is approaching.Arnaud Di Pasquale said via Eurosport.
Djokovic is still without a title this season after failing to defend the Australian Open and French Open. Notwithstanding, Wimbledon has been one of his best tournaments having won the championship seven times.

The Serbian would be competing at his fifth Olympics, having participated in the tournament since 2008. But, he has only one bronze to boast of at the event. He has lost the third-place match twice in three appearances.
The only piece of silverware eluding his elite cabinet is the Olympic gold and he would give his 100% to win that in Paris. The tennis event at the Paris Olympics will be played on the courts of Roland Garros, the home of the French Open. The 37-year-old has won the French Open thrice in his career.
