24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic has been a great player on the court but to his wife Jelena Djokovic, a great partner. Despite still recovering from his torn meniscus, the Serbian celebrated with his wife on her birthday, expressing his gratitude for her contribution to his brilliant career.
The couple started dating in 2005 while still in school, they married just after Djokovic won his second Wimbledon title in 2014. Their union has been blessed with two children, a boy Stefan, and, a girl Tara. He has often celebrated his children, most especially when they come to watch him on the court.
Jelena, for her part, has been a great mother to her children. Djokovic has often revealed that she sacrificed her dream so she could look after the children while he travels on Tour and performs without worries. Also, Jelena has been Djokovic’s biggest fan throughout his career. She was in the stands in 2006 when Djokovic won his first ATP title at Amersfoort.
She was also in the stands during the French Open in which he reached the quarterfinals before withdrawing due to injury. Now, Djokovic celebrated Jelena’s birthday, singing and dancing with her.

Djokovic turned 37 on the 22nd of May this year. Despite, Jelena not being there to celebrate (he was playing at the Geneva Open), she showered her love on social media.

Jelena Djokovic is much more than a mother of two children; a wife, a humanitarian worker, brand manager. Now, she has decided to push beyond her boundaries, as she recently featured in an animated movie.

She featured in the movie titled Inside Out 2, a sequel to the hit 2015 animated movie by the same name. The movie explores various emotions as individual characters. It was released in most parts of the world last week and will soon be released in Serbia. It will also have a Serbian dubbed version.
She announced this via an Instagram story and mentioned that she advocates for open discussions about emotions. The character Jelena has voiced remains a mystery and fans will have to wait to find out.
