Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury exchanged words on FaceTime as they were reunited by Turki Alalshikh

This incredible moment comes after it was announced that Joshua and Daniel Dubois will both appear in the fight at Wembley Stadium on September 21.

Former heavyweight champion AJ will clash with his British compatriot for the IBF heavyweight world championship, which was vacated by Oleksandr Usyk.

With less than three months to go, Joshua will now prepare for his fight with Dubois but it seems he is still eyeing a fight with Fury .

‘The Gypsy King’ last lost to Usyk in their undisputed heavyweight championship bout in May but the rematch is set for December 21.

If he wins, Joshua is expected to be his next opponent as the FaceTime fight with Alalshikh proved.

“Champion, finish the job on December 21 and see who is waiting for you,” the Saudi boxing chief told Fury on the phone next to Joshua.

“I’m waiting for you!” Joshua said, before ‘The Gypsy King’ insisted: “I will complete the mission [with Usyk]!”

Even if Fury loses, Joshua insists that he will wait for Fury, which Alalshikh agrees with and says he will schedule the fight in the first or second quarter of 2025.

“This can’t wait,” Joshua added with a grin and pointed to his right fist, to which Fury replied: “I’ve got two of those too!”

AJ then implied that he should use his fists instead of his mouth, but Fury cheekily responded: “I’ll use both hands on your face, you big ugly thing!”

Joshua also joked that his heavyweight friend looks like a tomato and should apply sunscreen when he feels sunburned.

Fury said: “I have to deal with Usyk first, one more time,” although AJ replied: “One more time? You haven’t dealt with him once.”

Alalshikh then reminded ‘The Gypsy King’ of this duty on 21 December, with the victory potentially ushering in a historic all-British war.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn is keen for his client to face the winner of Fury vs Usyk II.

AJ and Fury were previously scheduled to fight in 2021 but the former was forced to meet Deontay Wilder in a trilogy bout which he won.

A year later, negotiations were held between the two sides to finally meet the two British sides but failed due to delays in signing the contract.

However, 2025 could very well be the year that fans finally get to see Fury and Joshua fight in the ring.
