When Jake Paul started his YouTube career, he didn’t really imagined he would be fighting some of the most important names in mixed martial arts as a semi-pro boxer.
From the moment he started training, he set the goal to shoot at turning professional but he was well aware of how complicated the road would be. Now that he is at the top of the celebrity boxing game, Jake Paul’s ambition has scaled up in size
Currently, he dreams of someday becoming a professional boxer who can compete for belts. That dream is slowly becoming a reality but Jake Paul still needs to fight more boxers from the professional circuit in roder to get himself a proper chance.
Currently, Jake Paul is 27 years old and he is about to fight Mike Perry on July 20, he is more than ready to take on this new challenge. Initially, this fight that will be streamed on Netflix was supposed to happen between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson.
But the veteran boxer suffered a medical emergency during a flight from Florida to California and he had to postpone his participation. Jake Paul himself revealed that Tyson is still game to fight but in November. As a replacement, the Bare Knucke fighting Championship king, Mike Perry is the one who took the challenge. How many more fights does Jake Paul have inside of him?
Jake Paul recently spoke to the people at Fox News Digital about his plans for the future. He was adamant on the plans he has for the next few years. When questioned about the time he has left inside the ring, Jake Paul even game a time frame. Although this can obviously change at any time, Jake Paul said: “That’s a long ways away. I don’t know if I’ll still be boxing by then. Maybe like three or four more years. Man, I feel like I’m just going to accomplish everything that I want to accomplish in that time frame. There’d be nothing left for me to do.”
