Dmitry Bivol’s ex-wife wildly celebrates boxer’s defeat by Artur Beterbiev and exclaims ‘karma caught up with this a***hole’

Dmitry Bivol’s ex-wife, Ekaterina, was filmed being overjoyed that he lost his huge undisputed clash with Artur Beterbiev.

Montreal-based wrecking ball Artur Beterbiev (21-0, 20 KOs) became the undisputed light heavyweight world champion with a majority decision over Dmitry Bivol (23-1, 12 KOs) on Saturday evening at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This clash of unbeaten champions—with Beterbiev risking his WBC/IBF/WBO titles and Bivol defending his WBA strap—crowned the division’s first undisputed ruler since Roy Jones Jr. vanquished Reggie Johnson in 1999.

One judge had it 114-114, while two others scored it 115-113 and 116-112 for Beterbiev.

Many fans debated the score online with the majority believing Bivol had done enough to have his hand raised.

One person that was not cheering him on was his ex-wife. Who decided to live stream her reaction as she watched the contest unfold.

Ekaterina, has been embroiled in a highly publicised split from Bivol, and recently took to social media to express her support for Beterbiev.

The ex-couples divorce was finalised last year but Ekaterina, has accused Bivol of emotional abuse and controlling behaviour during their marriage.

According to translation on the video she says: ‘Karma caught up with this asshole. Artur, I’m happy for you. Now, my work is in court.’

She continued: ‘F***, honestly, that’s what you deserve. You got scared. Karma reached Bivol. Go f*** yourself. No, honestly, go f*** yourself. I was right.’
