Christie Sides’ Indiana Fever team secured a 91-83 win over the Chicago Day during Father’s Day on Sunday.

The win was one of the Fever’s best performances on the 2024 WNBA season, and improved their record to 5-10.

While this record isn’t great by any means, the Fever are now 4-2 in the month of June, with their only two losses coming against the two teams with the WNBA’s best 2024 records.

The game’s most remarkable moment came when Sky rookie Angel Reese fouled Caitlin Clark by striking her on the head in the third quarter.

After the game, Sides spoke out about how the referees handled the call.

“I was really proud how they all kept their composure, and the right call was made in that moment,” Sides said. The foul was ultimately rules a flagrant 1 on Reese.

Sides continued by saying, “Just make the right call in those moments and we can move forward. But when we don’t make the right call on those moments, that’s when there’s a problem.”

Sides appears to be content with how the entire situation was handled.
