We are less than a week away from Money in the Bank where the top WWE Superstars will compete for the biggest prizes available for the taking. While all eyes will be set on those who are looking to pick up career-defining wins, a few names must look over their shoulders for a potential knife in the back.

Here, we look at three shocking betrayals that can happen at Money in the Bank 2024. So, without further ado, let’s begin.

#1. Finn Balor attacks Damian Priest after the title match at Money in the Bank

Damian Priest is set to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank. The two superstars have also agreed to an agreement that if The Visionary fails to dethrone Priest, he cannot challenge for the title again as long as the Archer of Infamy is the champion.

However, if Rollins wins, Priest will have to leave The Judgment Day. El Campeon shockingly agreed to this agreement on WWE RAW, while stating that the heel faction needs him more than he needs them. Even if he retains the title, his teammates could turn on him following weeks of mistreatment.

WWE has repeatedly focussed on the growing tension between Damian Priest and Finn Balor. The Prince recently won the World Tag Team Championship alongside JD McDonagh with the help of Liv Morgan, hinting at their alliance. Balor could attack Priest to set up an epic feud on WWE RAW and may replace him with Morgan.

#2. Randy Orton turns on Cody Rhodes after the match against The Bloodline

Randy Orton will team up with Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens to take on The Bloodline in a Six-Man Tag Team match at Money in the Bank. The two sides have been at war on SmackDown for weeks and were involved in a brutal altercation this week on the blue brand, which delayed the show’s start.

The American Nightmare cut a promo following the brawl during which he mentioned that he would have liked to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against a “worthy opponent” in Madison Square Garden. Instead, he had to focus on The Bloodline, almost sounding regretful about not putting his title on the line in front of the lively crowd at an iconic arena.

At this point, Randy Orton was spotted turning around to look at Cody Rhodes. The Viper’s interest at the mere mention of a WWE Championship match could hint at his title aspirations. Orton could turn on Rhodes and set up a massive title feud en route to SummerSlam.

#3. Dominik Mysterio ditches Rhea Ripley for Liv Morgan

Although Liv Morgan seemingly allied with Finn Balor, her main focus is still on Dominik Mysterio. The Women’s World Champion has aggressively flirted with Dirty Dom on RAW over the last few weeks in her hopes of taking away everything from Rhea Ripley. She already has Mami’s title and potentially her faction, and now she could get her Dominik at Money in the Bank.

The former NXT Champion’s actions have been suspicious towards Morgan, hinting at a secret affair. If Finn Balor attacks Damian Priest, Dominik would have the option of siding with The Prince where he will find Liv Morgan. Or he could pick Damian Priest and reunite with Rhea Ripley when she returns.

The WWE Universe would be stunned if Dominik Mysterio picks Liv Morgan or gives into her seduction at Money in the Bank, publicly ditching Rhea Ripley for the current champion. Priest has repeatedly humiliated and questioned Dirty Dom since Mami went away, and he may have grown too weary of the world champion to tolerate him any longer.
