Becky Lynch has been away from WWE since her loss to Liv Morgan in the Steel Cage Match on WWE RAW a month ago. The Man didn’t negotiate her contract with the company and decided to take time off. However, the current Women’s World Champion thinks otherwise and believes that she has retired Lynch.

Becky Lynch was chasing the Women’s World Title since the Elimination Chamber PLE in February. She beat five other women to earn her title shot against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania XL. At The Showcase of Immortals, The Man came up short against Mami. However, Ripley’s unfortunate injury gave Lynch the chance to compete for the vacated World Title. She won a women’s battle royal to win the gold.

At the King and Queen of the Ring PLE, Becky Lynch lost the Women’s World Title to Liv Morgan. She failed to regain the championship on the subsequent episode of WWE RAW before going on her hiatus. The USA Network recently made a post on X (formerly Twitter) celebrating the 10-year anniversary of Backy Lynch’s debut. Morgan replied to the tweet by saying that she retired The Man.

Check out Liv’s tweet below:

“She was until I retired her.”

How did Becky Lynch get a chance to win the Women’s World Title after WrestleMania?

At WrestleMania XL, Rhea Ripley earned the right to gloat as she walked out of the premium live event as Women’s World Champion. On the subsequent episode of WWE RAW, Liv Morgan attacked Ripley in a backstage segment, legitimately injuring her.

Mami was forced to relinquish the Women’s World Title, ending her reign at 379 days. In the next few weeks, WWE announced a women’s battle royal to crown a new champion. The Man participated in the match and won by last eliminating Liv Morgan.

Had Rhea Ripley not gotten injured, she was supposed to continue her reign and Lynch would have taken her hiatus earlier. Now that Liv Morgan is the Women’s World Champion and intends to steal everything away from Ripley, it will be interesting to see how The Nightmare responds when she returns.
