One of the hottest names in the sports world over the last month has been Los Angeles Sparks rookie Cameron Brink, who was selected with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft.

Her strong start to the WNBA season has turned heads and drawn her comparisons to a polarizing NBA superstar, while her location in Los Angeles has allowed her facetime with another local celebrity in the professional basketball world.

Brink and Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard have been able to spend time together, as New Balance athletes, so they’ve collaborated on commercials. Recently on the “Podcast P,” with Clippers forward Paul George, Brink admitted that she thought Leonard was one of the funniest people she had been around.

“The funniest part was Kawhi. He is funny as s**t,” Brink said. “He’s funny, and like all of the New Balance guys, like our head marketing guy was like ‘We haven’t seen anybody make him laugh more than you.’”

Despite making him laugh the whole time, Brink says that she doesn’t remember what she was saying to bust up the former NBA MVP.

“I don’t even remember what I was saying but he was doing like the *imitates monotone Kawhi Leonard laugh*,” Brink said. “He’s like the male version of Aubrey Plaza, just like blunt, dry humor.

Of course, a lot of fans on social media think that Kawhi may have had ulterior motives, trying to flirt with Brink by laughing at all of her jokes.
