We were all this close to a 24k magical reunion!

On Saturday night, Cardi B and Bruno Mars both took to the stage to close out the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest ahead of Super Bowl LIII on Sunday in Atlanta — but they didn’t perform their hit remix to his 2018 song “Finesse.”

Fans still got a chance to hear the track during Mars’ performance, as well as “Marry You” and “Just the Way You Are,” according to Page Six. The outlet also reported that Cardi treated the crowd to her massive singles “I Like It,” ”Bartier Cardi” and “Bodak Yellow.”

The three-day party in partnership with On Location Experiences also included performances by Ludacris, Lil Jon, and Migos on Thursday as part of EA Sports Bowl, and Aerosmith and Post Malone on Friday.

Cardi B Says She Turned Down a Super Bowl Performance to ‘Stand Behind’ Colin Kaepernick

The pair’s almost-reunion comes after the “Be Careful” rapper, 26, told her fans in late July that she had dropped out of performing in Mars’ 24K Magic World Tour in order to spend more time with her daughter Kulture Kiari and give her body time to recover after giving birth just 16 days earlier.

Cardi welcomed Kulture Kiari on July 10 alongside husband and fellow rapper Offset.

“As of today, I’ve decided I won’t be joining Bruno on tour this Fall,” Cardi wrote on social media on July 26. “I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically.”

“I also thought that I’d be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing,” she admitted.

She rapper continued, “Not only am I just not ready physically, I’m not ready to leave my baby behind since the doctors explained it’s not healthy for her to be on the road.”

“I hope you guys understand that this decision has been the hardest to make but I have to do what’s best for myself and my baby! Thank you, Bruno, for being so supportive and understanding,” she concluded.

There were no hard feelings from the “24K Magic” singer, 33, who shared his own message on Instagram following Cardi’s post.

“A Message for Cardi,” the post began. “Most important thing is you and your family’s health. I know the fans will understand. You are absolutely doing the right thing.”

“I also know we’ll share the stage when the time is right,” he continued. “We love you Cardi and we will play Bodak Yellow every night in your honor. Please give your baby girl a hug from me and a hug on behalf of everyone on The 24k Magic Tour. Love, Bruno.”

Cardi B Thanks Bruno Mars for Featuring Her on ‘Finesse’ by Offering Up Her Kidney: ‘I Got You’

Cardi and Mars, who broke the internet with their In Living Color-inspired video for the remix of Mars’ tune “Finesse,” last entertained a crowd together when they tore up the 60th Annual Grammy Awards stage over a year ago to perform their collaboration.

After their performance — which picked up the video’s ’90s-inspired theme, with Mars and Cardi both dressed in colorful clothes — the rapper thanked Mars for reinventing the song with her.

“I want to thank you Soo much ! I don’t even know how !” she captioned a shot of the performance on Instagram. “Maybe one day you’ll need a kidney I got you .”
