Rey Mysterio, Nikkita Lyons and several more WWE Superstars have reacted to Ronda Rousey’s major announcement today. The Baddest Woman on the Planet competed in her final match with the company at SummerSlam 2023 and was defeated by Shayna Baszler.

Ronda Rousey announced earlier today that she will be releasing her first graphic novel soon. She announced that the romantic comedy graphic novel that she has been working on for the past five years will be released soon and is called Expecting the Unexpected.

Several WWE Superstars have reacted to the UFC legend’s announcement so far. Marina Shafir, Nikki Lyons, Natalya, Zelina Vega, and more stars commented on her Instagram post.

Rey Mysterio, Naomi, Samantha Irvin, Shana Baszler, and more also liked the post as well. You can check out some of the reactions in the image below.

Ronda Rousey has been critical of WWE since her departure last year. She teamed up with Marina Shafir a few times last year following her exit from the company.

She has not been in action since her appearance on the November 17, 2023 episode of Ring of Honor. Rousey and Shafir defeated Athena (formerly known as Ember Moon) and Billie Starkz in a tag team match.

Corey Graves reacts to Ronda Rousey’s comments about WWE

SmackDown commentator Corey Graces recently shared his thoughts on Ronda Rousey taking shots at the company.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Bill Apter earlier this year, Graves stated that everyone has a different experience in the company. He added that not everyone gets to achieve their goals while they are in the promotion.

“I take everything with a grain of salt. Listen, if you’re in this business for any duration, you get used to letting those sorts of things roll off your back. Everybody has a different experience in the WWE or in the wrestling business. Not everybody accomplishes what they set out to accomplish. Some people never expect to love it and fall madly in love with it.” [From 02:35 – 02:56]

Ronda Rousey accomplished a lot during her time in the company but didn’t become the huge star everyone expected her to be. It will be interesting to see if the 37-year-old ever returns to the wrestling business down the line.
