Rhea Ripley is currently recovering from an injury. However, the former Women’s World Champion will inevitably return to WWE. When she does, the Australian star will have her sights set on one person and one person only, Liv Morgan.

Liv Morgan not only forced Ripley to relinquish the Women’s World Championship, but she is also trying to take Dominik Mysterio away from The Eradicator. This could see Ripley bring back an iconic stipulation after 19 years for a showdown against the reigning Women’s World Champion.

The stipulation in question would be a Ladder Match for the custody of Dominik Mysterio. The last time such a match took place was at SummerSlam 2005, where Dirty Dom, who was only eight at the time, was also involved. His father, Rey Mysterio, took on Eddie Guerrero in a Ladder Match for his custody. Rey defeated Eddie to retain Dom Dom’s custody. This time, however, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan could be involved.

As things stand, all signs point to Dominik Mysterio having to choose between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan. However, given the kind of character he has, the former NXT North American Champion may leave it up to them to decide. So, what better way to do it than to recreate the match Rey and Eddie had all those years ago? The two could even duke it out at SummerSlam 2024.

However, as things currently stand, this is just speculation. There is no telling how this storyline revolving around Ripley, Morgan, and Mysterio will end.

Rhea Ripley recently got married to AEW star Buddy Matthews

While her on-screen life is in turmoil, The Eradicator has a lot to be happy about in her real life. The former Women’s World Champion exchanged wedding vows with AEW star Buddy Matthews on June 23, 2024.

The two have been together for the last two years and got engaged in August 2023. Mami took to Instagram to share a picture of herself and Matthews from their wedding.

Several superstars and members of the WWE Universe have congratulated Ripley and her husband, Buddy Matthews, on social media. Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see when Mami returns to WWE TV.
