Back in a 2010 interview with JoBlo, Emma Watson got candid about the “worst” Harry Potter moment when she was filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2.
Recalling the moment when she was filming the sequence when the series’ main trio, Harry Potter, Hermoine Granger, and Ron Weasley stole one of Voldemort’s Horcruxes from Gringotts and had a narrow escape by riding on the dragon. They later took an escape by getting dropped off into a lake. While it was quite an eye-pleasing enthralling ride to many, filming the sequence was an ordeal.
She explained the reason why that experience was the worst.
“It was on movie #2, we get dropped by a dragon into the lake and I think it was January or February. The lake wasn’t heated, and because we had to get changed as part of the next scene, we couldn’t wear anything underneath. I was lucky.”
She continued,
“I had my bottom half with some thermals on, but I was like, ‘This must be a joke.’ It was so cold.”
She further opened up about hating being in “cold more than anything” which was why that experience was too much for her. While the movie had her worse moment, she also revealed the best moment that gave her fond memories.

Given that she faced the worst moment in the movie series, she also got to witness some of the heartwarming moments that captured her heart forever. It was nothing more than a young child’s view of what would come next for her.
She told the outlet,
“The first movie, even though it was ten years ago and I was really young, I just remember the wide-eyed excitement and awe I just came into Leavesden everyday, just to be so excited about what I was going to see next.”
Walking on the new set or observing someone doing something new was exciting for her. She further recalled that everything went with leaps and bounds. The 8 installment series was a major success across the world that gained a strong cult following since its release.
