Bryson DeChambeau won the 124 US Open Golf Championship and Patrick Mahomes being an avid golf connoisseur couldn’t hold back from congratulating the winner. Now, DeChambeau wants to challenge the 3x Super Bowl winner and his favorite receiver Travis Kelce to a game of golf. That’s something that might upset Brittany Mahomes.
The Chiefs start their open practice on July 21, and they will conclude on August 15, which doesn’t leave much time for Mahomes to stay actively involved with his family. The couple is on the road for the final vacation and the QBs stunts might get in the way and might hinder them to enjoy their time together to the fullest.
When Bryson DeChambeau won the championship, Mahomes gave his felicitations to him on X by saying, “GREAT bunker shot!,” and just two days later, the QB got himself a challenge. The US Open Golf Championship didn’t hold himself back and invited Mahomes and Kelce toa game saying, “You, me, and Trav Break 50, let’s go!”
Now, moments later, the Super Bowl LVIII winner accepted the challenge in his reply to DeChambeau. Travis Kelce might also have to tag along on this one. “Let’s do it! @tkelce,” wrote Mahomes on X.
This might be a bummer because the Kansas City Chiefs Star and his wife are already on the road. Brittany shared glimpses of her on the road in her recent Instagram Story. She’s sitting comfy in her car, holding her HydroJug, sipping on her favorite drink. The story was captioned, “Off to our trip and you know I got my @hydrojug.”

What’s more important than an itinerary?
The QBs wife took to IG Stories and shared a couple of dresses and accessories that she’s packing for the trip. It would be an understatement to say that fans might have been excited to look at Brittany’s somewhat messy wardrobe. Let’s be honest, we’ve all had messy wardrobes at some point.
The picture shows tons of clothes, sneakers, and boots mostly in red and white, the Chiefs colors. The wardrobe is impressive, but not as impressive as their dog Steel, who has its paw on Brittany’s stomach and is looking at her like he’s already tired. Is the dog going on the trip too? Only Mahomes family knows.
Brittany highlighted her distractions saying, “Ask me about packing for a 4-week trip.” When the couple comes back, they might get so much quality time. So before that happens, there’s no harm in travelling far and wide before a busy NFL season consumes Patrick Mahomes.
