Taylor Swift thanked for generous donation in Edinburgh

A foodbank charity has been given a generous donation from international superstar Taylor Swift.

The  Edinburgh Food Project couldn’t contain its gratitude as it took to social media to announce the timely gift, coinciding with the singer’s record-breaking shows at Murrayfield Stadium, reports Wales Online.

The charity expressed its thanks online: “As fans gathered at @MurrayfieldStad on Friday for the first of three record-breaking gigs, we found out that @taylorswift13 would be making a donation to support foodbanks across the city. Thank you so much Taylor. Want to help? Donate £13 (#IYKYK).”

Swifties were quick to praise the ‘Shake It Off’ singer in the comments section. Rachel said: “One day she’s gonna set up The Taylor Swift Foundation and raise money for good causes everywhere she goes.”

Echoing the sentiment, Emma Gregory simply stated: “She’s just great.” Taylor Swift’s performances at Murrayfield Stadium have gone down in history, drawing over 220,000 fans the highest attendance for concerts at the venue. The star shared a special message with her fans to commemorate the landmark events.
