Angel Reese has inspired a new meme, and it’s taking over the internet. Still, the Chicago Sky rookie probably isn’t going to be happy about it.

Reese, the WNBA’s Rookie of the Month for June, has been a beast on the boards in her first season. The Chicago Sky forward leads the league in rebounds with 11.8 per game. She’s also atop the offensive rebound category with 4.8 per contest.
Fans have pointed out that the high rebound numbers result from the former LSU star grabbing her own misses. And there have been plenty of jokes about it.
It appears the internet is ready to take things up a level as a new meme branded “Hoop like Angel Reese” has been going viral. The video below shows females missing multiple layups and catching the rebounds before eventually scoring.

Angel Reese Is Having A Remarkable Rookie Season
While Angel Reese won’t be happy with the new trend – although who knows? She might find it funny – things are going swimmingly for her in her professional career.
As mentioned above, she leads the league in rebounding, and she has already set a record for consecutive double-double outings with 11.
The new Chi Barbie was just selected as an All-Star in her rookie season and was overwhelmed to the point of tears after finding out she had made the roster on Tuesday night.
Of course, she has plenty of detractors, but there are just as many, if not more, fans who are looking forward to seeing her do well.
