Jake Paul is throwing legal jabs of his own as the outspoken influencer has launched a countersuit against Eddie Hearn and his promotion, Matchroom Boxing. This move comes in response to their defamation lawsuit against him. The YouTube sensation turned boxer’s countersuit seeks damages and legal fees, claiming the original lawsuit was meant to silence him.

Paul is not pulling any punches, as he accused Hearn of using the lawsuit as an intimidation tactic. He claimed that Hearn wanted to stifle free speech in the boxing industry.

But what is the story behind all this? The case revolves around two high-profile fights: Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano and Oleksandr Usyk vs. Anthony Joshua. Paul’s company represents Serrano, while Hearn backed Taylor. Jake Paul made a comment about a judge named Glenn Feldman. He suggested Matchroom Boxing was bribing Feldman to influence fight outcomes. Hearn didn’t take kindly to these accusations and sued Paul.

Now, Jake Paul is fighting back. He denied the allegations and went on the offensive. He is asking for the original lawsuit to be dismissed without prejudice. He’s also seeking reimbursement for his legal fees and damages. It’s worth noting that Judge Feldman joined Hearn’s lawsuit as a co-plaintiff. This has made the case against Paul a bit more solid.

Jake Paul Showcases Worry For Francis Ngannou After His Opponent Does Backflips

Francis Ngannou, known for his devastating power, is set to make his PFL debut. He is facing Renan Ferreira, a 6’8″ Brazilian heavyweight with some serious athleticism. Paul, now affiliated with PFL, got a sneak peek at Ferreira’s skills.

What he saw left Jake Paul stunned. Ferreira, despite his massive size, pulled off several backflips. This wasn’t just any backflip; it was a celebration after a 21-second knockout win.  Paul’s reaction was that of disbelief.

“I didn’t know he could hit a gainer like that. A heavyweight hitting a gainer, he’s built different. Honestly, after seeing that, I’m a little bit more scared for Francis. I never realized that he had that much athleticism.” said Paul via PFL on X.

But fans must not forget who Francis Ngannou is. This is a man who’s faced the likes of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua in the boxing ring. In the MMA ring, he has faced arguably the greatest heavyweight in Stipe Miocic. So, he is no stranger to tough opponents. Now, it is a game of wits and power, as both will try to send the other into the shadow realm.
