Regardless of where you stand when it comes to Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark, the body of work she put up Wednesday night against the Washington Mystics was undeniably impressive.

Clark had one of the best games of her nascent WNBA career, as she stuffed the stat sheets to help the Fever score an 88-81 win at home over the lowly Mystics.

Clark was so good against the Mystics that she managed to barge into an extremely exclusive statistical club.

According to StatMamba, Clark just became the first rookie in league history to post at least 18 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, and four steals in a game. Overall, that has only been done in four other times in the WNBA.

With the Fever doing great of late and Clark seemingly shooting much more efficiently and producing at a high level on both ends of the floor — at least from a statistical perspective — lots of fans online have expressed their belief that she’s proving to be the special talent Indiana thought she would be when the Fever took her first overall at the 2024 WNBA Draft.

“Clark just doing what she does best. For someone who supposedly doesn’t play defense she sure does get a lot of steals.”

“Doing this while creating open shots for her teammates. She really special ROTY🔥🫡🙏🏽”

“She is a rookie…Imagine when she is in her prime”

“Good game from her, she’s been shooting more efficiently last few games.”

“She will become a superstar, after all.”

“Clark starting to cook 🤔 Easily the Rookie of the year and probably will be the best in WNBA history”
