Is it possible that Angel Reese achieves fame while Caitlin Clark does not? The two though on opposite ends have had similar balling trajectories. Clark emerged onto the scene when she battled it out against Reese’s LSU in the NCAA Championship Finale 2022-23. Since then the two have got hoards of deals, and basketball accomplishments that would put any serious baller to shame. Recently, Reese started tweeting about a potential collaboration with Hershey’s Reese’s. And just 24 hours after the rumors, Clark has come forward to show her star power.
On Friday. the brand Wilson revealed their first major collaboration product with Clark. The $6.6 billion worth brand gave out a teaser on the social media networking platform Instagram of Clark’s partnership with Wilson basketball. As per the news, the first balling collection from Clark will hit the shelves and online stores on July 9.
“Made for Defying Limits. The first collection from Caitlin Clark and Wilson Basketball arrives 7/9,” the brand captioned the post.

This was a major setback for Reese’s news since the media outlets who were previously broadcasting her much-anticipated collaboration with Hershey’s were now washed over by Clark’s news. And the social media channels were flooded with the same. But the deal with Wilson is nothing new.
Clark had inked a deal with Amer’s subsidiary company Wilson in mid-May this year. She had thus become the second balling star after the legendary Michael Jordan to have an agreement with the balling company. Wilson was also signed as the official balling partner of the WNBA in 2021 and hence, life has come full circle moment for Clark. From playing with Wilson’s ball to having her own release with the company. Meanwhile, Reese also isn’t behind but many say she lags by a few days.
Angel Reese lags behind Caitlin Clark due to one reason
Reese is potentially looking to sign a deal with Hershey’s. She is even tweeting a lot about Hershey’s Reese’s pieces and asking her followers to comment on her posts. But as per a few outlets, the deal is late since in October 2022, Hershey signed a NIL deal with 12 football athletes who had the same name as Reese. Therefore, Angel not getting a contract at that time was a little odd since the brand could have capitalized on her fame since then.
However, as they say, it’s never too late. Even now Reese can uplift the brand by signing a deal with Hershey and performing well in the W to give the brand a push and encourage her fans to have sweet treats.
As for Clark’s fans, they won’t have to wait for long since in a few days they get the opportunity to have their favorite Wilson balls. Meanwhile, Reese and Clark can also continue their rivalry in the W court.
